Following the bus on the live map
The live map shows where the rider's bus is right now, the route, and how far the bus is from the rider's stop.
When can I open it?
The live map is open from 15 minutes before the route's ride time until 30 minutes after it ends, on the route's days. Outside that time the app shows when it opens next, for example "Live map opens today, 15:45".
Before the ride time starts, the status shows Ride starts at 16:00 · the map opened early. After it ends, it shows Ride time ended at 17:45 · the map is open until 18:15.
The rider must be confirmed by the place and the bus must have a GPS tracker.
How to open it
- On Home, tap See the bus on the map on the rider's live card, or
- on the rider's page, under Bus routes, tap the route that shows On now · open the live map.
What the map shows
- The bus – its live position. The arrow shows the direction it is driving.
- The route – the line along the roads the bus drives, with all its stops.
- Your stop – the rider's pickup stop, highlighted.
The map follows the bus. If you move the map yourself, it stops following; tap the Center on the bus button (top left, next to Back) to follow it again.
The layers button (top right) changes the map: Yandex, 2GIS or Google. See "Maps".
Tap a stop to see its name, address, the route and its ride times. On the rider's stop you can tap Change stop.
The panel at the bottom
The panel shows the trip status at the top, then the bus and driver, then the list of stops. Drag the top part up or down to make the panel bigger or smaller. The top part stays in place while you scroll the stop list. When the panel is small, it still shows at least 3 stops, starting from where the bus is.
Trip status

| Last seen at stop | No live signal (see below). Shows the time of the last position. |
| The bus hasn't sent its position yet | The tracker hasn't sent any position yet. |
The estimate uses the distance along the remaining stops and the bus speed. It does not know about traffic, so treat it as a guide.
The stop list
- Passed – stops the bus has already passed (grey).
- The bus icon – where the bus is now: Bus is here · stop when it is at a stop, or Bus just left · stop between stops, with Now.
- Your stop · name – the rider's stop, highlighted.
The bus and the driver
The box under the status shows the number plate, the vehicle name and the driver's name. Tap Call to phone the driver. Tap the box, or the bus on the map, to see:
- the vehicle name and Live · updated 10 s ago
- Number plate
- Speed now in km/h
- the Driver with a Call button
If there is no Call button, the place hasn't added the driver's phone ("The driver's phone isn't set").
No live signal
If the bus hasn't sent a new position for more than 2 minutes, a dark banner says "No live signal. Showing where the bus was time ago." The map shows the last known position.
It may be your internet or the bus's signal (for example in a tunnel or an area with poor coverage). You'll still get an alert when the bus reaches your stop. Tap Retry to check again.
The bus has no GPS tracker
If the bus has no tracker, you see This bus can't be shown on the map yet and the route's stops as a list. The school can add a tracker. You can still call the driver with Call the driver.
Common questions
The map says the bus passed my stop, but the bus didn't come. The app compares the bus position with the stops. Check the status: if it says The bus hasn't set off yet, the bus isn't driving the route yet. If the bus really drove past, call the driver from the panel.
Why is the bus not moving on the map? Either the bus is standing still (check Speed now in the bus details), or there is no live signal (the banner says so). Tap Retry or wait a minute.
Why can't I open the live map? It is outside ride time, the rider isn't confirmed yet, or the bus has no tracker. Home tells you which one.
Can I see other buses? No. The live map shows only the bus of your rider's route.
