Help Center
The Help Center is a panel with three tabs:
- Assistant – an AI assistant that answers questions using your team's live data and this documentation.
- Docs – this documentation, readable right next to your work.
- Support – a direct conversation with the NexaBus support team.
Opening the Help Center
There are two ways to open it:
- AI button in the top bar (the animated AI icon next to search). Opens the Help Center as a popup over the page you're on, so you don't lose your place. On mobile it fills the screen; tap ✕ to close it.
- Account menu → Help. Opens the Help Center as a full page.
Switch between Assistant, Docs and Support with the buttons at the top of the panel. It opens on the Assistant tab, unless you arrived through a documentation link, in which case it opens that article in the Docs tab.
AI Assistant
The assistant answers questions in plain language. It fetches live data from your current team when it needs to, and searches this documentation for how-to questions.
It can help with:
- Vehicle locations – where a vehicle is right now, with speed, status and last update time.
- Routes – all routes with their vehicles and stops, or only the routes running right now.
- Drivers and passengers – details about a specific driver or passenger.
- Vehicle reports – a summary (distance, engine hours, fuel) or a list of trips for a vehicle over a date range.
- Device status – how many tracking devices are online or offline.
- Today's attendance – how many passengers have boarded, are expected, are absent, or were late.
- Inactive vehicles – which vehicles are out of service, in repair, etc., and why.
- Fleet status summary – how many vehicles are in each status.
- Using NexaBus – how features work, based on this documentation.
Tips for better answers:
- Refer to vehicles by name, license plate, or any other field you use to identify them (e.g. "019 BQ 01").
- Relative dates work: "yesterday", "last week", "from the 23rd to the 25th".
- The assistant replies in the language you write in.
Note: The assistant can make mistakes. Double-check important figures in the full reports before acting on them.
Sending a Message
Type your question in the box at the bottom and press Enter or click the ↑ button. Use Shift + Enter to start a new line.
Commands
Click the ⌘ button next to the send button to open a list of ready-made questions:
| Command | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Vehicle Location | Where a vehicle is right now |
| Route Status | The current status of a route |
| Driver Information | Details about a driver |
| Active Routes Now | Which routes are running right now |
| Vehicle Report | A summary or trips report for a vehicle over a date range |
| Device Status | How many devices are online or offline |
| Today's Attendance | Today's passenger boarding totals |
| Inactive Vehicles | Which vehicles are inactive and why |
| Fleet Status Summary | Vehicle counts by status across the fleet |
Type in the command list to filter it. Selecting a command puts its question in the message box. Replace any placeholder in square brackets, such as [VEHICLE_NAME] or [FROM_DATE], with your own value, then send.
Voice Input
Instead of typing, you can dictate your question:
- Click the microphone button. The first time, your browser asks for permission to use the microphone. Allow it.
- Speak. While recording, the message box is replaced by a recording bar with a live sound wave.
- Finish with one of the buttons on the bar:
- ■ (stop) – turns your speech into text and puts it in the message box, so you can check and edit it before sending.
- ↑ (send) – turns your speech into text and sends it straight away.
- ✕ (cancel) – discards the recording.
Recording stops automatically after 2 minutes. You can speak in any language. The recording is used only to produce the text and isn't saved in NexaBus.
Tip: Use ■ rather than ↑ when your question includes license plates, names or numbers, so you can fix anything that was misheard.
Chat History
Your conversation is kept between visits, and the panel shows your last 20 messages when you reopen it. Each assistant answer has a copy button to copy the text.
To start fresh, click the trash button at the top of the panel and confirm. This permanently deletes your chat history.
Docs
The Docs tab contains this documentation.
- On desktop, the menu of articles is on the left and the selected article on the right. The Introduction opens by default.
- On mobile, pick an article from the list; use the back arrow to return to the list.
Links between articles open inside the panel. The open article is kept in the page address, so reloading the page or using the browser's back button brings you back to it.
Support
The Support tab is a direct conversation with the NexaBus support team. Use it for problems the assistant can't solve: account or billing questions, bugs, or anything that needs a person to look at.
Type your message and press Enter or click ↑. Your earlier messages stay in the conversation, and replies from support appear instantly while the panel is open.
Troubleshooting
The microphone button is missing. Your browser doesn't support voice recording. Use an up-to-date version of Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox.
"Microphone access was denied". You blocked the microphone for NexaBus. Allow it in your browser's site settings (usually the icon to the left of the address bar), then try again.
The Assistant tab shows "Setup Required". The AI assistant hasn't been configured for this installation. Contact support through the Support tab.
