Chart Report
The Chart Report draws how a vehicle's data changed over time. Each sensor you pick — speed, fuel, temperature, voltage and so on — gets its own panel, and all panels share one time axis, so you can read every sensor at the same moment. The vehicle's state (moving, stopped, parked…) is shaded behind every panel, and on the fuel line every refuel and drain is marked.
Running the Report
- Open Reports and pick Chart (in the Fuel & sensors section of the report list). Click the report name at the top to switch to another report at any time. Your vehicle and period are kept.
- Vehicle: pick one vehicle.
- Period: pick a preset or choose dates on the calendar. A report covers up to 31 days at a time.
- Time from: which time to plot against:
- Fix Time — when the GPS got the position (the usual choice)
- Device Time — the time the device stamped
- Server Time — when the data reached the server
- Click Show report.
Days load one at a time and the chart draws as they arrive. Stop keeps what has loaded, Load the rest carries on, and a day that fails can be loaded again with Retry.
Sensors
The Sensors row above the chart lists the panels shown. Click Add sensor to pick more. Only sensors this device actually reports are listed once the data has loaded, for example:
| Group | Sensors |
|---|---|
| Movement | Speed, Odometer, Trip Odometer, Course, Acceleration |
| Position | Altitude, Accuracy, Latitude, Longitude |
| Engine | RPM, Engine Hours, Throttle |
| Temperature | Coolant Temp, Engine Temp, Device Temp, Humidity |
| Fuel | Fuel Level, Fuel Used, Fuel Consumption |
| Power | Power, Battery, Battery Level |
| GPS quality | Satellites, Satellites Visible, HDOP, VDOP, PDOP, RSSI |
Click ✕ on a sensor to remove its panel. Each panel can also be moved up or down, or hidden, from its own header. A panel with nothing to draw says no values in this period.
Vehicle State
The Vehicle state band at the top shows the period's states, and the same colors shade every panel below:
- Moving, Stopped, Parked, Ignition off / no GPS and No data
These are the same states as in the Timeline Report. Click a state in the legend to hide or show its shading. Any refuel or drain is always shaded as parked, since fuel can only be added or drained while the vehicle stands still.
Reading the Chart
- Hover anywhere to read every sensor at the same moment; a line follows your pointer through all panels.
- Zoom: drag the window under the chart, or scroll on a panel. The label Zoomed in · 10:15 – 12:40 shows where you are; Show the whole period zooms back out.
- Speed shows the top speed and the average while moving.
- Fuel shows the raw sensor reading (faint) and the filtered level (bold) used to find refuels and drains. If the fuel sensor is calibrated, the line is drawn in liters.
Refuels and Drains
On the fuel panel, arrows mark each refuel (up) and drain (down) found by the same detection as the Fuel Report. Click an arrow to see:
- The level before and after, and the change
- When it started and ended, and what the vehicle was doing at the time
- The lowest and highest level during the event
- Where it happened
- Zoom to it — zooms the chart in on the event
- Replay — opens the Replay of the event, from ten minutes before it to ten minutes after
On a Phone
- Touch and hold on the chart to read every sensor at one moment. Pinch, or drag the window, to zoom.
- Tap an arrow for the refuel or drain details, which open in a panel at the bottom.
- The sensors row scrolls sideways; tap Sensor to add one.
- The ⋯ menu holds Print.
Printing
Print prints the chart as you see it, with each panel's name.
Use Cases
- Speed analysis: see speed through a trip
- Fuel monitoring: follow the fuel level and check each refuel or drain
- Temperature trends: watch engine or cargo temperature over time
- Comparing sensors: read several sensors at the same moment to find links
- Diagnostics: look closely at a specific stretch of time
No Data Found
If the report comes back empty, it shows No data found with a Try the previous day button. Check that:
- The vehicle was active during the period
- The device reports the sensors you picked — some need extra equipment to be installed
