Replay Report
The Replay feature lets you watch a vehicle's historical movement on a map, like a video playback. Use this to review routes taken, investigate incidents, or verify that vehicles followed correct paths.
Generating a Replay
- Select Vehicle: Choose a vehicle from the dropdown
- Set Date Range: Select the start and end dates/times for the replay
- Click Generate Report
The system fetches all position data for the selected period and displays the route on the map.
Playback Controls
Once the replay loads, use these controls:
- Play: Start the vehicle moving along its route
- Pause: Stop the playback at the current position
- Speed Slider: Adjust playback speed from 1x (real time) to 10x (fast forward)
The vehicle marker moves along the path showing exactly where it was at each point in time.
Map Features
- Route Path: The complete route is drawn on the map
- Vehicle Marker: Shows the current position during playback
- Zoom/Pan: Standard map controls to adjust the view
Printing
Click the dropdown menu next to Generate Report and select Print to create a printable version of the map showing the complete route.

- Route Verification: Confirm vehicles took the correct route
- Incident Investigation: Review exactly where a vehicle was at a specific time
- Training: Show drivers optimal routes or review their actual routes
- Dispute Resolution: Provide evidence of vehicle location at specific times
Tips
- Start with shorter time periods for faster loading
- Use higher playback speeds (5x-10x) to quickly review long routes
- Pause playback to examine specific locations
- Zoom in on areas of interest while replaying
