Managing Clients

Clients represent the organizations whose vehicles you manage. For example, if you operate buses for multiple schools, each school would be a separate client. Passengers use the client code to connect to the correct organization in the mobile app.

Viewing Clients

The Clients page displays a table with all your client records:

  • Logo: The client's logo (click to see a larger preview)
  • Name: The organization name
  • Client Code: A unique code that passengers enter in the mobile app to connect
  • Business Type: The type of organization (school, hospital, corporate, etc.)

Use the Columns button to show or hide table columns.

Page Actions

The Clients page header includes:

  • Search: Find clients by name or client code.
  • Mobile Users: Opens the mobile users management page where you can manage app users associated with your clients.
  • Columns: Toggle which columns are visible in the table.
  • Add Client: Create a new client record.

Adding a Client

  1. Click the Add Client button.
  2. Upload a logo (optional) - this appears in the mobile app for passengers.
  3. Enter the client name (required).
  4. A unique Client Code is automatically generated. Use the copy button to copy it.
  5. Select a business type (optional) - choose from categories like School, Hospital, Corporate, Government, and more.
  6. Set the location (optional) - select Country, Region, and City. This allows mobile app users to find this organization by browsing locations instead of entering a client code.
  7. Click Create Client.

Important: Copy the client code and share it with passengers. They'll need this code to connect to your organization in the NexaBus mobile app. Alternatively, if you set a location, users can browse and find your organization by location in the mobile app.

Client Actions

Click the actions menu (three dots) on any client row to access these options:

  • Edit: Modify the client's name, logo, business type, or location.
  • Routes: View all routes assigned to this client.
  • Passengers: View all passengers associated with this client.
  • Delete: Remove the client from the system.

Editing a Client

  1. Find the client in the table.
  2. Click the actions menu (three dots) in that row.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update the name, logo, business type, or location as needed.
  5. Click Update Client.

Deleting a Client

  1. Find the client in the table.
  2. Click the actions menu (three dots) in that row.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Note: If the client has routes assigned to it, you cannot delete it. You must first reassign those routes to a different client. A dialog will show which routes are currently assigned.

Pagination

When you have many clients, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate between pages.

Permissions

You need the appropriate permissions to add, edit, or delete clients. If these options are not visible, contact your administrator to request access.
