Managing Routes

Routes define the sequence of stops that a vehicle follows. Each route is assigned to a client, shift, and vehicle. When you create a route, you select which stops to include and arrange them in order.

Viewing Routes

The Routes table displays:

  • ID: Unique identifier
  • Name: Route name
  • Client: The organization this route belongs to
  • Shift: When this route operates
  • Vehicle: The vehicle assigned to this route
  • Sync Status: Connection status (Pending, Synced, Failed)

Searching for Routes

Use the search field to find routes by name. Type your search term and press Enter.

Customizing Columns

  1. Click the Columns button above the table.
  2. Check or uncheck columns to show or hide them.

Adding a Route

  1. Click the Add Route button.
  2. Complete the three tabs:

General Information Tab

  • Name (Required): A descriptive name for the route (e.g., "Morning School Run - North")
  • Client (Required): Select which client organization this route belongs to
  • Shift (Required): Select when this route operates
  • Vehicle: Assign a vehicle to this route

Managing Stops Tab

Build your route by selecting and ordering stops:

  1. Find stops in the Available Stops list on the left.
  2. Drag stops to the Selected Stops list on the right.
  3. Arrange stops in the order the vehicle should visit them (top to bottom).
  4. Drag stops back to Available Stops to remove them from the route.

The order matters - the vehicle will be expected to visit stops in the sequence you define.
