Managing Passengers

The Passengers page lets you manage people who ride your vehicles. You can assign passengers to specific routes and stops, and configure email notifications when vehicles arrive at their pickup/drop-off locations.

Viewing Passengers

The Passengers table displays:

  • Photo: Passenger's photo (click to see a larger preview)
  • Name: Passenger's full name
  • Email: Contact email address
  • Phone: Contact phone number
  • Passenger Code: Unique identifier for the passenger
  • Client: The organization the passenger belongs to
  • Status: Verification status (Verified or Pending)

Use the Columns button to show or hide table columns.

Filtering by Client

Click the Client dropdown in the table header to filter passengers by a specific client organization. Select All Clients to show all passengers.

Sorting

Click the Status column header to sort passengers by verification status.

Viewing More Details

Click the expand arrow on any row to see additional information:

  • Route: Which route(s) the passenger is assigned to
  • Shift: The shift schedule for each route (with times)
  • Stop: The specific pickup/drop-off stop(s)

Searching for Passengers

Use the search field at the top of the page to find passengers by name, email, phone number, or passenger code.

Adding a Passenger

  1. Click the Add Passenger button.
  2. Complete the three tabs:

General Tab

  • Photo (Optional): Upload a photo of the passenger.
  • Name (Required): Full name of the passenger.
  • Email (Required): Email address for notifications.
  • Phone (Optional): Contact phone number.
  • Passenger Code: Automatically generated unique identifier. Use the copy button to copy it.
  • Verification Status: Toggle between Verified and Pending.
    • Verified: Passenger can use stops and tracking features.
    • Pending: Passenger is under verification.
    • Passengers created by administrators default to Verified. Passengers registered via the mobile app default to Pending until approved.

Stops Tab

Assign the passenger to routes and stops:

  1. Select a Client from the dropdown.
  2. Click Add Stop.
  3. Select a Route from the dropdown (shows route name, shift name, and shift times).
  4. Select the Stop where this passenger boards or alights.
  5. Repeat to add multiple route-stop assignments if needed.
  6. Click the trash icon to remove any assignment.

Notifications Tab

Configure email notifications:

  • Stop Arrival Email Notifications: Toggle on to send an email when the vehicle arrives at this passenger's stop.

Note: If your administrator has disabled notifications globally, this setting won't take effect and you'll see a warning message.

  1. Click Create Passenger to save.

Editing a Passenger

  1. Find the passenger in the table.
  2. Click the actions menu (three dots) in that row.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Update information in any of the three tabs.
  5. Click Update Passenger to save.

Deleting a Passenger

  1. Find the passenger in the table.
  2. Click the actions menu (three dots) in that row.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Deleting a passenger removes all their route assignments and notification settings permanently.

Pagination

When you have many passengers, use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to navigate between pages.

Permissions

You need the appropriate permissions to add, edit, or delete passengers. If these options are not visible, contact your administrator to request access.
