Vehicle Maintenance

Overview
Vehicle Maintenance tracks service schedules for your fleet so nothing gets missed. Set up a reminder once — based on distance, time, fuel, or any of over 40 supported metrics — and NexaBus tracks when the next service is due.
Key Features
40+ Maintenance Types
Track maintenance the way it's actually measured on your vehicles:
- Distance-based: total distance, odometer, service odometer, trip odometer
- Time-based: engine hours, driving time
- Fuel-based: fuel level, fuel used, consumption rate
- Engine parameters: RPM, coolant/engine temperature, throttle position
- Battery & power: voltage, battery level
- Plus speed, altitude, GPS accuracy, humidity, and other OBD parameters your devices report
Automatic Due-Date Tracking
Each maintenance record has a Start (the reading at last service) and a Period (the service interval) — NexaBus calculates the next due point automatically and updates it live as the vehicle's readings come in.
Per-Vehicle Records
Filter and search maintenance history by vehicle, jump straight to a vehicle's maintenance from the Vehicles page, and export the full history to Excel for compliance or resale documentation.
Maintenance Alerts
When a service comes due, it fires a Maintenance Required event that can trigger a Notification rule, so the right person hears about it without checking the page manually.
Benefits
- Prevent Breakdowns: Catch service needs before they become roadside failures
- Extend Vehicle Life: Consistent servicing on the metric that actually matters for each task
- No Missed Intervals: Automatic due-date calculation, not a spreadsheet you forget to update
- Full History: Every service tied to a vehicle, with an exportable record
Why NexaBus Vehicle Maintenance
Different maintenance tasks are due on different clocks — an oil change tracks mileage, a coolant check tracks temperature thresholds, a turbo service tracks engine hours. NexaBus lets you track each one the way it's actually measured, instead of forcing everything onto a single calendar.
